Hello, Baseball Oshawa family!
This week is notable for the association as we celebrate Military Appreciation Week. This week's celebration leads into Baseball Day in Oshawa for all house league players on Saturday, June 15.
Jayson DesLauriers, a member of our coaching elite baseball staff, has been the driving force behind Military Appreciation Week, a celebration that holds a deeply personal significance for him. His dedication and passion for this event make it all the more special for Baseball Oshawa.
Association President Daryl Macklem has participated in every salute to the proud members of the Armed Forces, Navy and Air Force. He said the ceremonies are a way for Baseball Oshawa to tip the cap to these heroes.
"We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your service and sacrifice. Your dedication and community service to the country are truly commendable. We are grateful today and every day," expressed Daryl. "This is our time to honour and recognize current service members and veterans for their invaluable contributions."
We invite all house league players and their families to attend at least one of the games at Kinsmen Memorial Stadium on Arena Street from through Friday. The Stadium, with its nostalgic charm, is the perfect setting to enjoy a ball game. Admission is free!

See you at a game.
