The 2024 Baseball Oshawa House League got off to a flying start this week.

Welcome to all the rookies and returning players! We're happy to have you play ball this summer, and we'll do everything we can to ensure a fun and memorable house league season for all.

This week, almost 500 players took the field and practiced hitting, fielding, and throwing, all made possible by the invaluable support of our dedicated volunteer coaches. We are truly grateful for your commitment and passion.

We have a couple of kind comments to share from our Facebook page

"We really enjoyed the first practice. There were apologies for a chaotic start but honestly we didn’t notice. We got such a welcoming family feel and we’re so excited for the season!"

Thank you, boys, for the help on Opening night practice. I really appreciated that help.

Our opening night was a resounding success, thanks to the presence and support of several rep players, coaches, and executive board members, including Josh Ward, Susanne Gallant, Lisa Howcroft, Diann Marshall, Micky Rose, Dave Munns, 15U Elite players, Ryan Janes, Shawn Earle, 18U Elite players, 16U Elite players, Tammi Hughes, and many others. Your enthusiasm and energy made it a memorable start to the season.

Jayson DesLauriers, coach of the 16u Elite Legionaires, and some of his players offered tips and encouragement to numerous players.

We are always looking for more dedicated individuals to join our team of house league coaches. Your contribution is invaluable, and if you can help out, please send a note to houseleague@baseballoshawa.com.
