Legionaires help Durham Lords to Canadian Baseball Championshio after silver medal finish in Ontario

The Durham Lords won gold in Canadian College Championship after winning silver in the Ontario College championship and Baseball Oshawa players and coaches played a huge role!

The team's head coach is Sam Dempster and his assistants include his son Colin, Junior Legionaires coach Scott Cawker and Tim Harkness.

Baseball Oshawa products include Justin Travis, Jason Crouse, Griffin Oliver, Jordan D'Amico, Palmer Cruickshank, Sam Cawker,Jake Storry, Connor May, Lucas Fasullo, Easton Baker. Other Durham Region players on the team are Jake Legros, Johnathon . Well done, men! 

Durham College claimed the National College Baseball Championship gold medal on October 26 in Toronto, defeating the Thompson River Wolfpack in an exciting extra-inning contest, 2-1. The win marks the second national championship in program history, previously claiming the Canadian Intercollegiate Baseball Association national title in 2011.
