ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Dear Members: Baseball Oshawa will host the 2022 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, October 17, at 7 pm at the Durham College CRWC Athletics Boardroom.

The AGM will include reports on the 2022 season by all executive members, a financial update, a vote on executive positions and subsequent introduction of the 2023 Baseball Oshawa/OLMBA executive.  

During the meeting, the voting/Election for available Baseball Oshawa/OLMBA Executive Positions will also be conducted. 

Positions available for election for the next 2 years are:

The following positions are to be voted for at the election on October 17, 2022

1. President

2. Vice President

3. Secretary

4. Treasurer

5. Registrar

6. 20 Director Positions (4 of whom are to be appointed by the Executive of the Royal Canadian

Legion Branch 43)

 

OFFICIAL ROLES NEEDING TO BE FILLED

These roles will be assigned by the Executive and will be the Chairman of those committees. We need to fill several of these positions and require several new volunteers to ensure these essential roles are filled.

— Sponsorship & Marketing

— Baseball Day in Oshawa

— Select Director

— Diamond & Permits (Rep & House League)

— Kinsmen Stadium Permits and Scheduler

— Military Appreciation Week

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR VARIOUS EVENTS

— House league convenors

— MLB Pitch Hit & Day competition

— MLB Jr. Home Run Derby

— Year-end Video Presentation

— Three REP tournaments 

— Baseball Day in Oshawa

— Anthem singers for special events

If you have a skill or job that might help the association run better, we can find a way to get you involved.

The agenda for this year's meeting, including the names of those nominated for Executive Positions and proposed by-law amendments, will be posted for review by our members before the AGM.

We would like a good representation at the meeting, so please plan on attending and encouraging others to do so as well.
