Oshawa off to Ontario championship tournament this weekend

After finishing first in the 18U A EOBA standings and earning a bye into the final round of the playdowns, it came down to the final game for the 18U A Legionaires to determine the team moving on to the OBA Playoffs.
The Legionaires beat the Ajax Spartans 8-1 in that game to qualify for the OBA Playoffs and represent the EOBA in the 18U A division.

It was a close, one run game until the sixth inning when Oshawa scored three runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

The Legionaires pitchers threw a great game with Quinn Corbett allowing only two hits in 5 innings followed by Liam Storey who had 6 strikeouts in two innings of work.
The 18U A Legionaires will head to Brantford this weekend for the OBA Playoffs and take on the Kanata Cubs in their first game.
