Baseball Day in Oshawa is June 18th

Get ready, Baseball Oshawa families, because, on June 18, our sport will be taking over the city.

On Saturday, June 18, Baseball Day in Oshawa will kick off at Kinsmen Stadium at 8:30 am with a house league mini-tournament. Following that, spectators can catch the showcase doubleheader featuring the 16U Oshawa Elite Legionaires at 1 pm. The pre-game ceremony will also include a ceremonial first pitch from Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter.

There will also be a BBQ for the players participating in the mini-tournament. 


Hosted by Baseball Oshawa, the event wraps up our annual Military Appreciation Week June 12-17, featuring Legionaires rep games with special military guests throughout the week.


Baseball Day in Oshawa (BDIO) begins at 8:30 am with a Mini Tournament.

8:30 am — Minor Tyke/Tyke Mini-tournament. Four games will be running at the same time on the Kinsmen Stadium field.

11:45 am — Free BBQ for all Minor Tyke/Tyke players and coaches.

Noon — Food tables to be opened

12:45 pm — Ceremonial first pitch Councillor Bob Chapman, Legion Colour guard and pipes. 

12:58 pm — Special National Anthem singer. 

1 pm and 4 pm — 2022 Showcase Games. Oshawa Legionaires 16U DH Showcase with a special umpire. 

8:30 pm — BDIO Select Game under the lights. Come out and watch our House League Select Legionaires play PICKERING 11U Select.
