This year, the 13U A Legionaires made a good run at an OBA title but ultimately fell short.
After starting the first round with a 1-2 record, the team rattled off three straight wins to secure a spot in the Championship round. Despite having a chance to win two games in the late innings, the team's title hopes were limited by another 1-2 start.
This time, the slow start was too much to overcome, but the team still took pride in winning the last game of the season to secure 3rd place overall in Ontario's 13U A division.

The team finished the season on a memorable note, playing Whitby in a memorial exhibition game in honour of former coach Chris Traynor and player Joey Traynor. The Traynor family and friends attended the game as we celebrated their love of baseball on a temperate September evening.
