By Baseball Ontario, 06/25/21, 8:00AM EDT

The Province of Ontario's decision to move to Step 2 of COVID protocols means we can kick our season into high gear for House League and Rep teams.

Our board members are actively working on schedules now that we have a firm grasp of the expectations for the season.

Here is the official statement from Baseball Ontario

As we've all been eagerly awaiting, the government announced the move to Step 2 this morning:

    "Outdoor sports without contact or modified to avoid contact, with no specified limit on number of people or teams participating, with restrictions;
    Outdoor sport facilities with spectators permitted at 25 per cent capacity;
    The facility must actively screen individuals who participate in team sports before they enter the facility;"

What this means for Baseball Ontario:

    Scrimmages and games can resume on Wednesday.
    There are no restrictions on league size.
