Baseball Oshawa 18U Legionaires coach Jayson DesLauriers is proud to announce that Paul Xenophontos has been given an amazing opportunity!!  For those who know Paul and his dedication to the game, this should come as no surprise.

The RHP/Infielder has been selected to the Chicago Cubs Scout team.

Paul leaves today (September 10) for California and returns in November.  We wish him nothing but the best of luck as he chases his dreams!!! 

The Chicago Cubs Southern California Scout Team attracts the most talented players in Southern California, due to the alliance with it’s MLB organization the Chicago Cubs, and the premier baseball coaches who are among the best and most experienced in the nation.
The Southern California Cubs are one of the few scout teams recognized by their MLB organization The Southern California Scout Team has the backing of the Chicago Cubs. The link between the Cubs organization and it’s Southern California Scout Ball team is unique; the organization looks to the scout team to continually embrace young players and hone their skills. The select group of players is allowed to try out only by way of their high school coach, college coach, or pro scout. The objective of our team is to have all rostered players sign letters of intent, or be chosen through MLB First Year Player Draft.
