With a rich history of college placement and MLB draft selections, the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO) has a decorated track record in North America. The PBLO member franchises have produced more than 500 college baseball players, highlighting the emphasis placed on academic success and on field success. The PBLO has also seen over 50 players selected in the MLB Draft. The Premier Baseball League of Ontario is proud to showcase top amateur athletes across the 15U to 18U levels. Together, PBLO member franchises provide amateur players with the positive platform required to live out their collegiate and further baseball goals. Discussions are ongoing about a 140 division in the PBLO.

The PBLO prides itself on the following benchmarks: Operating competitive 15U, 16U, 17U & 18U teams; Appropriately trained Elite coaches and managers for this level; Access to diamonds suitable for AAAA baseball; Access to an indoor facility for off season training; Spring Training in Florida; US Showcase Tournaments; PBR Showcase events; Winter indoor training and development; college placement support and education and resident team access to the Ontario Elims and Provincial Championships as well as Ontario Youth team.

"We have enjoyed a great relationship with the EBLO and its teams and leadership, however it was felt that the time had come to expose our teams to an anticipated higher level of competition and ideal season format by moving to the PBLO," stated Baseball Oshawa President, Ken Babcock.

"We look forward to the new challenges for the 2021 season and beyond for our Oshawa Elite teams, coaches, players and parents, while at the same time continuing to field a full competitive program of Oshawa Legionaires (8U-21U) AAA to A teams in the EOBA."

Tryouts for the Oshawa Legionaires Elite teams joining the PBLO will be announced shortly. There is an ID Camp scheduled for players (14U to 18U) interested in playing Elite Baseball on Monday, August 3rd at  7 pm at Kinsmen Stadium.
