There were smiles all around as the 2020 Baseball Oshawa House League season opened up on 9 diamonds Monday night.

Under picture perfect skies, the Tyke and Bantam teams got to work. Before the players and coaches could take the field, the new COVID-19 rules were explained to everyone.

We have developed extensive RETURN TO PLAY protocols which all players, coaches and families will need to follow while at the ball diamonds.

There were popups, grounders swings and misses but most importantly, there was baseball!

Currently, we are in team training sessions and will transition to games as soon as we are given permission by the provincial government.

By the end of the week all teams will have taken the field to start the season.

BANTAM — Monday/Wednesday
ROOKIE BALL — Tuesday/Thursday
MOSQUITO — Tuesday/Thursday
