Baseball Oshawa's Jacob Miller will be one of the youngest players at Canada's most prestigious tournament

Miller, 15, was chosen to play in the seventh annual Tournament 12 which will be held at Rogers Centre in Toronto from Tuesday, September 17 to 21.

It has been an eventful year for Miller, who played up as a member of the Legionaires 18U team, as he was Team Canada’s MVP for the Sunbelt Classic Tournament and was named to the All Tournament team in Oklahoma in July.

The format has been revamped for this year’s event so that the 150 young Canadian prospects selected to participate will no longer play for their respective regions, but rather will be divided evenly among six teams.

Tuesday will be a workout/scout day and then the teams will play a series of games against each from Wednesday through Friday.

A home run derby will be held on Saturday, along with an all-star game that will feature the tournament’s top prospects and performers.

Former Legionaires Quinton McRae is also playing in the tournament.
