Get Ready for the Season!

Are you looking for a way to keep your kids active and excited about baseball? Our Learn to Play Clinics are perfect for House League players of all ages, whether they're picking up a glove for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills. Led by some of Baseball Oshawa's top coaches, these clinics focus on:

  • Fundamental skills like throwing, hitting, fielding, pitching and catching.
  • Building confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
  • Fostering teamwork and getting players ready for the season.

Each clinic mirrors a full practice, designed and facilitated by experienced coaches to help every player grow at their own pace. Whether your child is new to the sport or returning, clinics are a great way to get a head start on the season.

Affordable and Flexible

Our Learn to Play Clinics are just $10 per session (you choose which sessions you can attend). 

CLINIC DESIGN

  • Intro: Coaches explain what to expect and set goals for the session.
  • Warm-Up: Cardio, strength, agility, and stretching to prepare for activities.
  • Throw and Catch: Practice throwing and catching fundamentals.
  • Drill Stations: Small groups rotate through hitting, fielding, and other skill-building activities.
  • Situational/Live Play: Apply skills in a game-like scenario with real-time coaching.
  • Cool Down (Fun Team Activity): Team-based fun to wrap up the session.
  • Wrap-Up: Coaches highlight successes and set goals for the next session.

You can donate gently used equipment at each clinic to help make baseball accessible to every family in our community.

Do we need to be registered for the House League Season to attend Learn to Play Clinics?

No! But we recommend you do that before February 1, because you get two Learn to Play Clinics for free!

what do we bring?

Please dress in appropriate pants (sweatpants/baseball pants) and a t-shirt or jersey, and a hat!

Please bring your players' batting helmet and glove, and if desired, personal bat and batting gloves. Those interested in catching (age appropriate) must wear a jock or jill.
