Congratulations to Nicholas Denault, Braden Babcock and Zachery McQuaid on being chosen for the 2010 EOBA Minor Mosquito Fall Travel team. The all-star team will practice and compete this September and October against other association all-star teams, exhibition series in Hamilton, plus will travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to compete in the Columbus Day Classic All-star tournament at the Cal Ripken Baseball Experience complex in October. YEAR END HOUSE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT AND BANQUET
Don't miss this year's exciting conclusion to our T-Ball and Rookie House league seasons. Both seasons will be culminating in a year end one day tournament and banquet. Teams will compete for their division championship and will also receive free pizza, a drink and snacks during the event.

OSHAWA LEGIONAIRES REP TEAMS ENJOY WINNING SEASONS!!!
This season four of our six Oshawa Legionaires Rep Baseball Teams enjoyed winning seasons in the Eastern Ontario Baseball Association (EOBA) regular season. Congrats to Scott Arbuthnot and the Senior Rookie Ball (2001) Rep Legionaires on their winning record this season. The Ken Babcock led Minor Mosquito (2000) Rep Legioniares posted a winning season (14-11) during the EOBA regular season loop and are confident heading into the play-offs after a Silver medal finish at the EOBA’s a year ago. Congrats to Steve Crouse and the Minor Peewee (1998) Rep Legionaires on their winning regular season and 2nd place finish (16-5). And finally congrats to Kirk McLean and the Minor Bantam (1996) Rep Legionaires on their winning record this season and all their success. Good luck to all of our Legionaires rep teams as they enter their EOBA play-off tournaments and playdowns. Rep baseball in Oshawa is on the rise. 2011 REP TRYOUT DATES ALL SET!!!
Baseball Oshawa looks forward to welcoming all eligible players from the 2010 season and all new players looking to play baseball for the first time in Oshawa (or have moved to this centre) to consider rep baseball in Oshawa. Rep baseball in Oshawa is on the rise and growing. This past year 4 of the 6 Oshawa Legionaires Rep teams posted winning seasons, up from just 2 teams a year ago. We are excited to announce we will be offering 9 rep teams for the 2011 season. (Up from 6 this season). The future looks bright for the Oshawa Legionaires.
Note: All players trying out must register and pay a required $50 tryout fee prior to stepping on the field for tryouts (Can be done right at the field prior to the tryout). The $50 will be credited towards your Baseball Oshawa overall registration fee.

The Oshawa Legion Minor Baseball Association (OLMBA) hit a home run with the newly renovated Kinsmen Stadium made possible with a $101,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). Jerry Ouellette, MPP for Oshawa, joined OTF representative John Stafford and Mayor John Gray, in congratulating the Oshawa Legion Minor Baseball Executive at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
All scheduled games are on unless the City of Oshawa has advised Baseball Oshawa that that the fields are unsafe. All players, coaches and umpires should plan to attend their regularly scheduled game. Upon arriving at diamond it is the discretion of the coach and umpire to cancel the game if they feel the field is not safe.

Baseball Oshawa is proud to announce that we were awarded an Ontario Trillium Grant from the Province of Ontario. We will be improving Kinsmen Stadium and purchasing pitching machines for our Rookie Ball teams. Looking forward to a great season ahead!
